All KRPA Holding employees and associates strive to maintain the reputation of a solid and responsible company that has a keen interest in the development of society as a whole.
Natural resources are irreplaceable for paper production, which is why our primary concern is to develop sustainable management of natural resources. We take great care to protect nature and invest considerable sums in reducing the impact of production on the environment. We pay constant attention to environmental issues. It goes without saying that we comply with all legal requirements. We are developing activities to promote eco-friendly packaging and replace plastic with paper. Our high level of environmental care, risk minimization, and continuous improvement is confirmed by ISO 14001:2015 certification.
We manage waste in accordance with the strictest current legal regulations. Emissions are continuously measured and the quality of wastewater treated in two stages is regularly verified on a monthly basis by an authorized laboratory. Technological waste from paper production and processing is a high-quality raw material for paper recycling.
The companies in KRPA Holding have been operating for many years and influence life in the cities where they are based. We feel a shared responsibility for the healthy development of communities, to which we contribute by supporting educational institutions and important cultural events in the region.
The quality of management and products is guaranteed by ISO 9001:2015 certification. We use the highest quality raw materials from leading European companies in our production. Quality control is a common denominator of all activities in our company throughout the entire purchasing, production, and sales process.
Paper production is relatively energy-intensive. The company has a modern gas boiler room, which not only provides heat for paper production, but also heats hundreds of households in Hostinné. Thanks to ingenious technical solutions, we have achieved intensive use of waste heat.
We implement modern energy sources. We have installed photovoltaic panels on the roofs of our production plants and are continuing to expand our clean electricity production capacity in further stages.
As a major energy consumer, we work closely with the energy transmission system operator and contribute to balancing surpluses and shortages of power, thereby maintaining grid stability.
